Lottie Ann Cone was born at Hinckley, DeKalb County, IL Aug 11, 1869, the daughter of Archibald and Ann Bailey Cone. When about 14 years old she came with her parents to Storm Lake where she resided on a farm some 5 miles north of town.
On Jan 1, 1890 she was united in marriage to William E Moore of Storm Lake. They were the parents of two children, a daughter and a son: Edna M Cottew of Storm Lake and Earl W Moore of Los Angeles, CA.
Mrs Moore died March 7, 1945 at the Alta hospital where she had been for the last month leaving to mourn her death two children; a brother, Fred W Cone of Alta; and a grand daughter, Virginia Moore Mayhew of Bremerton, WA.
Her husband preceded her in death Aug 30, 1922. A brother and two sisters also preceded her.
A resident of Storm Lake for over 30 years, Mrs Moore had been with her daughter, Mrs Cottew for 4 months before going to the hospital. She had been in failing health since July.
