From Der Nord Westen, 20 May 1909: (From the correspondent in Mishicott, 18 May)
Death Friday last week in his home a few miles from here of 71-year old B. Langenkamp after an illness of only a few days. His large funeral was held Sunday afternoon in the local cemetery. He is survived by his wife and 7 grown children –3 sons and 4 daughters all in good circumstances.
Mishicot:
The funeral of Bernard Langenkamp was held at the Mishicot Cemetery on Sunday afternoon and was one of the largest ever held here. Mr. Langenkamp has resided in this community most of his life, living at Tisch Mills some twenty years in the vicinity the rest of his life. He was 71 years of age at the time of his death. His death was unexpected, altho, he had been ailing slightly for a few days and only his wife and daughter were with him at the last. He is survived by a widow, four daughters and three sons, all of whom were present at the last sad rites. Mr. Langenkamp is also mourned by a large host of friends whose sympathies are with the bereaved family.
