Bobby Ray Alexander went home to be with his wife on October 1, 2012. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Resthaven Memorial Park. Bobby was born in San Angelo, TX on May 27, 1943, to Archie and Adell Alexander. He graduated from Midland High in 1962. On March 21, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart, Darla Kay Merriman. He worked for many years in the family business at Johnstone Supply, until he retired in 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darla; mother, Adell; father, Archie; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Vada Merriman; and an infant son, Billy Bob. He is survived by his daughter, Dee; sister, Carolyn; brother-in-law, Lewis; a nephew, Kenneth and niece, Charisse; and grandniece and grandnephew. Though they only had one child by birth, they shared their hearts and love with many, including daughter, Katie, son, Eddy and three granddaughters, ReBecka, LoriBeth, and Denise
