Jessie was born November 21, 1923 in Great Falls. She grew up in Great Falls and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1941. She married Jim Gendreau and together they had two daughters. The two later divorced. Jessie was very proud of herself for learning how to drive and getting a license at the age of 42.
She worked for Lee Nelson Inc. as the secretary treasurer for close to 20 years. She was also a member of Zonta, Women in Construction, and was a proud member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church her entire life. Jessie dressed, worked, and lived impeccably. Those that knew her remember the fine clothes and shoes. Jessie loved ice cream almost as much as life itself!
Jessie is survived by her daughters, a granddaughter, and two great-grandsons.
