Mrs. Myrtle Pierson, 60 years old, died Monday evening after an illness. She lived at 317 1/2 North Twentieth street, and lived in Richmond 38 years. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church. Mrs. Pierson was born at Abington, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. She was the widow of Welton Pierson.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Emma Demaree of Richmond, and Mrs Ethel Wood of Centerville; three brothers, Roy Miller of Abington, Earl Miller and Jesse Miller, both of Richmond; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pierson will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Second Presbyterian church with Rev. George J. Goris officiating. Burial will be in Abington, Ind., cemetery. Friends may call at the Klute, Beach, and Henry funeral home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday.
