BETTY LEE KEEDY, 87, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at her home. Born Feb. 21, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Margarite Eleanor (Bohn) and Claude Durbin Smith Sr.
Betty was a member of the Church of Christ in Ringgold, MD. She was previously employed with Fairchild; Eyerly’s (downtown) as a switchboard operator; and retired from the Noland Company as a receptionist.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harry Keedy.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Hose; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers, Claude Smith Jr., Robert Smith and Wayne Smith; and one sister, Dorothy Pryor.
Graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown; arrangements by the Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
