Elvin L "Bud" Breland, 84, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015, in Bartlett, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Breland will be Wednesday, October 14th at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Bud was an avid outdoors man. He loved almost anything outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and ballgames, but most of all he loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett L. & Mary Anne Breland, and brother-in-law Jerry C. Davis. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Mary A. Breland, three daughters; Barbara Washburn (Gary), Ann Scobey (Jon), and Kelly Perry, six grandchildren; Amy Flickinger, Brian Washburn, Josh and Chris Scobey, and Kelsey and Bronson Perry, seven great grandchildren; Jaxson Flickinger, Riley Kate and Aubrie Paige Washburn, Casey Ann, Stella, Mason, and Myles Scobey, four sisters; Helen Wyatt (Paul), Ruth Powell (Eddie), Gladys Davis, and Louise Hill (Billy), one brother; David Breland (Dianne), and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service starting at 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery following the funeral service.
