Mrs. Ira R. (Jessie L.) Curtis, 81, a lifelong Springwater resident, died in Wayland Hospital Monday (Jan. 30, 1961).
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ella C. Smith of Springwater; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Proctor of Wayland; a brother, Raymond Gordon of Canadice; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held in Wayland yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Howard Warriner, pastor of the Springwater Methodist Church officiated and burial was in Wayland Cemetery. (GCE, February 2, 1961, p6)
