Richard Albert Clement, 73 of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 with his family by his side.
He was born on December 21, 1941 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Ova Joseph and Lela Peloquin Clement.
Richard enjoyed life and loved hunting, fishing, working in his shop, but especially loved spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Denise Benoit Clement, his son, Eric Dean Clement, his daughters, Linnie Jo McCook and Rosie Lynn (Wayde) Fontenot, his grandchildren, Micah Burnside and his fiancé Emme Quintanilla, Christopher Jaymes Bellow, Erron Clement, Kara Clement and Slayde Fontenot, his great granddaughter Jazlynn Burnside, his sister, Brenda Landry, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Ova Joseph and Lela Peloquin Clement, his brother Clifford Clement, his sisters Shirley Bertrand and Betty Crumley.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 8:00am till time of Service. A Funeral Service Celebrating Richard's life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Charles.
