Doris Yvonne (Coulson) Alwine, 83 of Dallastown, passed away peacefully at Manor Care Dallastown.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Alwine.
Mrs. Alwine was born in Cumberland County near the village of Uriah on July 15, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Ira H. and Marian V. (Gardner) Coulson.
Doris was a talented musician, and a skilled seamstress, and enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by her four children, Dwight Alwine of the United Kingdom, Jeffrey Alwine and his wife Linda of Spartanburg, SC, Dennis Alwine and his wife Rosanne of Stafford, VA, and Debra Ziegler and her husband Gordon of York; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her three sisters, Merle Millhimes and her husband John, C. Eleanor Heller, and her husband Clark and Julianne Lawton; as well as her mother-in-law, Charlotte Alwine Pelton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, June Rhoads, and two brothers, Clyde and Jack Coulson.
Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
