Kerry LaManna, aged 49, of Shirley, NY died suddenly at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital on February 4, 2015.
Kerry was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a secretary with the RB Irrigation company. She was well known and loved as the “cupcake lady” at Colonial Youth. She would always volunteer to help the children and staff at Colonial.
She was all about family; her husband and children were the center of her life.
She volunteered to assist other families with locating their loved ones at various cemeteries, taking pictures and sharing them with whomever asked. She was an accomplished photographer, enjoyed gardening, and was a huge fan of the show “The Walking Dead”.
She will be sorely missed by her canine companions Hugo, Izzy, and Rascal.
Kerry is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Jeffrey, and their children, Kevin and Eva, whom she so loved and was so very proud. She is also survived by her siblings, Katherine Perry and John W. Mone.
Services were held at Roma Funeral Home, Shirley, NY to say farewell to this loving and caring woman. Cremation was held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches, NY.
