Mrs. Rose Decroix, 86, of 420 Klein St., a resident of Springfield for the last 60 years, died at 7:45 a.m. yesterday at Memorial hospital after an illness of seven months.

Mrs. Decroix was born April 7, 1861 in France.

She was a member of St. Joseph's church.

Surviving are three sons, Charles, Paul and Walter; one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Bauman [sic, Rosa Bowman], all of city; 35 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

DeCROIX - Remains of Mrs. Rose Decroix, 86, of 420 N. Klein St., are at the Vancil funeral home (north side), where they may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, and 8 a.m. to time of services Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's church with Rev. J.F. Meara officiating.

Interment in Calvary cemetery.

Rosalie Augustine DASSONVILLE (Rose DECROIX) was born on April 7th, 1861, in Noeux-les-Mines, Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.

She was the daughter of Pierre Alexandre DASSONVILLE, a coal miner and Rosalie DUBOIS, a grocer.
