David M. Monroe, 24, of West Yarmouth, died Tuesday, March 5 at his home. He was born in Hyannis, the son of Patricia (Ellis) Monroe and the late William (Ray) Monroe Jr. He was a 1978 graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. At the time of his death, he had worked for eight years for James Merchant Inc. of Dennis Port. Survivors include a brother, William R. Monroe III of West Yarmouth; his grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Albert Melkonian of Bass River and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ellis of Seminole, Fla; two aunts; two uncles; two nieces and several cousins. Burial was in the Swan Lake Annex Cemetery in Dennis Port.
