Mary was raised mostly in Bristow, Oklahoma, one of the towns along “The Mother Road” —Route 66. She had a large family of six brothers and three sisters.
Mary was married to Clarence Eugene Brown, who passed away in 1989.
She was predeceased in death by her brother Carl Harvel Newton (1924-1994) a WW II vet laid to rest at Trice Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma.
