WOLFE CITY — Johnnie C. Lloyd, 82, of Wolfe City died suddenly Aug. 14, 2006, at his home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Dr. Kevin Mitchell officiating. Burial is at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The son of Allen S. and Stella Stephens Lloyd, he was born Feb. 11, 1924, in Wolfe City. On Jan. 27, 1950, he married Doris Genel Howell in Dallas.
Mr. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a factory representative for a tractor manufacturer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City.
Members of the Business Men's Sunday school class will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
