Dr. Goverdhan Sachdev was a esteemed gentleman of family, faith, love, and kindness. He was a distinguished professor at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Pharmacy. His research impact is global for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. While he received numerous research and teaching awards, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Promila Sachdev; his daughter and son-in-law, Drs. Gloria Sachdev and Rakesh Mehta; his son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Arun and Ruchi Sachdev; four beautiful granddaughters and one handsome grandson. He also is survived by numerous caring relatives in India including his two older brothers, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at Vondel L. Smith & Sons Funeral Home located at 13125 N. MacArthur (405-720-1439) on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 3:00pm CST.
