Jane Taylor married 1st to Martin Fredrick McKasson and they had 4
known children Matilda born 1844 and Edney born 1846.Martin died July 23 1849 and Jane then Married to Lindsey Edward Dorsey who was born March 3,1814 Butler Co Ohio and had 3 small children from his recently deceased wife Francina Musgrove Dorsey of Clermont County Ohio.Michael born 1839,Louisa born 1844,Sarah born 1846 all in Ohio. In 1850 Lindsey and Jane Dorsey had purchase land in Ripley county Ind. Built a House and sold the Land for 5 times of the Purchase price in 1852. Jane with family then traveled to Johnson Co Indiana as Lindsey had Brothers in Decatur,Johnson and Shelby Countys. The family Settled near Greenwood as Lindsey was a Wagon Maker. Jane and Lindsey had the following known children. Lutitia,Francie Ann Dorsey as they still had there children from there 1st marriages they all become usefull in those rough Pioneer days of Johnson Co
Jane died in 1859. Lindseys 3 children remained in Greenwood and Southport Areas and all Married. Michael Dorsey married Effie Grove 1861,Louisa married George Clark 1861 and Sarah married Calvin H Smock in 1865. Lindsey along with Janes 2 daughters and the 2 children of Jane and Lindsey all went to Daviees Co Indiana and remained
