Linda T. Alderson

August 31, 1941 - October 17, 2015
Resided in Bel Air, MD

Linda Thompson Alderson, 74, of Bel Air, MD went home to be with our Heavenly Father on October 17, 2015. She was the daughter of the late James Frank Thompson and Elma Buchannan, and beloved wife to the late Johnny Dean Alderson. She is survived by 4 daughters, Kathy Baker, Pat Woo, Terry Butcher and Jamie Schulz and 1 son, Tommy Alderson. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Linda was an EKG Technician for many years, but her passion was doing her ministries. Her hobbies were sewing and crocheting. She taught Sunday school, fed the homeless and had a card ministry. She stopped every military, fire or police officer that she saw, to thank them for their service. She stopped her car to ask a young man if he was ok as he sat crying, then got out and prayed with him. If someone was in the hospital she would go and pray with them. Linda was the most selfless woman that you ever want to meet. She loved people but most of all loved the Lord. She wanted everyone to be saved, so that we could all spend eternity together. If she made a promise she kept it, if you needed someone to stand by you, or pray for you, she did that. She was a selfless, kind, loving and compassionate person that made a difference in so many lives. She will truly be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Road, Bel Air, MD 21015.
