James Eural “Jimmy” Wood, Jr., 69, passed away at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home of Winston Salem, NC on October 20, 2015. He was born on April 29, 1946 in Eden, to James Eural Wood, Sr. and Mildred Martin Wood. James attended Reed Island Springs Baptist Church. After graduating from John Motley Morehead, he married his high school sweetheart, Gerry Law Wood. James retired from DuPont.
Left to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 50 years, Martha “Gerry” Wood; sons, Michael James Wood(Amy) and Jonathan Ray Wood; three grandsons; brothers, Terry Wood and David Wood.
Interment will be in Ridgeview Cemetery in Eden, NC.
