Born in Montgomery co., Md., and named for his father. With the consent of his mother, at age 13 he was bound in apprenticeship till age 21 to become a Wheelwright. Do not believe he ever married. In his last will, instructions are left that from his estate, a proper stone marker be provided for his late brother James.
