Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Wayne Love on March 25, 2009; two grandsons: Curtis Banks and Jeff Vaughan; three brothers: Earl, Berl and Ross Garland; three sisters: Gertha Gage, Lola Gage and Eula Johnson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter, Vivian Vaughan and husband, Charlie, Hampstead, NC; one brother, Lloyd Garland, Erwin; one sister, Marie Branham, Rockwood, TN; three grandchildren: Justin Banks and wife, Georgeanne, Hampstead, NC, Amelia Banks, Castle Hayne, NC and Victoria Benhoff, Wilmington, NC; five great grandchildren: Aaron and Ashlee Banks, both of Hampstead, NC, Nicole Holliday, Castle Hayne, NC, Calisa Benhoff, Wilmington, NC and Chelsea Adkins, Hilton Head, SC. Mrs. Love was so grateful for her relationships with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family dearly. Several nieces and nephews who loved her as one of their own parents also survive.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 12:00 P. M. until the hour of service at the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Robert Bess will officiate at the 1:30 P. M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be men of Love Chapel Christian Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City.
