Allie G. Ashcraft, 72, of Sheridan, died Monday night at his home. He was a retired Civil Service employee.
Mr. Ashcraft, son of the late Jessie and Gullie Lybrand Ashcraft, was born at Grapevine and attended school there. He was a Baptist and a member of the Grapevine Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Brewer Ashcraft, to whom he was married in 1919 at Sheridan; two sons, Derward Ashcraft of Little Rock and Eugene Ashcraft of North Little Rock; a sister, Mrs Hazel Worthen of Pine Bluff and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the New Hope Methodist Church by Reverend C. N. Glover. Burial with Masonic graveside rites will be at the New Hope Cemetery by South Funeral Home. Members of the Grapevine Masonic Lodge will be pallbearers.
