Mary Quincy Sheafe Daughter of Edmund Quincy V (1727-1782) & Anne Huske. Niece of Dorothy Quincy Scott, whose first husband was John Hancock, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Mary's father may be the Edmund Quincy in Tomb 76, Granary Burying Ground, Boston. Mary Quincy married Jacob Sheafe, Jr. on December 29, 1744. Their children:

1. Hannah Sheafe, b. Oct. 16, 1775, d. Aug. 2, 1860, m. to Benjamin Prescott on Sept. 27, 1795.
2. Olive Huske Sheafe, b. May 24, 1777, d. Sept. 21, 1845, m. Daniel Waldron on June 5, 1802.
3. Henry Sheafe, bt. July 26, 1778 (South Church), d. Apr. 30, 1854, m. Lucy Cushing.
4. Ann Hunt Sheafe, bt. Jan. 10, 1780 (South Church), d. young, probably before Jan. 14, 1781, see other Ann below.
5. Ann Huske Sheafe, b. Jan. 14, 1781, d. June 1875, m. Charles Cushing on Mar. 12, 1805.
6. Nathaniel Tracy Sheafe, b. Oct. 8, 1781, d. 1802 of yellow fever, service on Aug. 9, 1802 at St. John's, buried first at Sherburne Burying Ground, later moved to North Cemetery.
