As Miss Anna B. Feicke, Mrs. Carlson was born on June 19, 1873 in Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter of Frederick and Louisa Randt Feicke. She married Gustave A. Hindenburg on October 18, 1893 in Bloomington, Illinois, who died on April 6, 1917. She remarried Oscar Carlson who also died.
Surviving are the following children who were born of her first marriage, Mrs. Rachel Miller of Saybrook, Illinois; Miss Ethel Hindenburg of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Pearl Hatzenbuhler; Mrs. Lucile Bowser of Kankakee, Illinois; and Mrs. Mildred Erps of Bloomington, Illinois. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
