Bernadette "Betty" C. Scheinoha, age 88, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Betty was born on May 23, 1925 in the Town of Eaton, WI to the late Andrew and Blanche Schnettler Wilmus. On June 24, 1946, Betty married Edward L. Mrotek at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1976. She later married Howard W. Scheinoha on June 24, 1982 in Manitowoc. Howard preceded her in death on June 11, 1997. Betty was a longtime employee of Richter Vinegar Company. She retired in 1983. Betty was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Survivors include Betty's seven children: Rose (Bob) Morgan, Reedsville; Barbara Gerhardt, Reedsville; Richard (Faye) Mrotek, Kiel; Robert (Marilyn) Mrotek, Cleveland; Jeanette Mrotek, Cleveland; Cleveland; Raymond (Danielle) Mrotek, St. Nazianz; Jerry Mrotek and his significant other Marleen Schisel, Cleveland; six stepchildren: Robert Scheinoha, Manitowoc; John Scheinoha, Jackson; Jeanni Scheinoha, Manitowoc; Sue Scheinoha, Mishicot; Mary Scheinoha, Concord, CA; and Margaret (Neville) Keller, Chicago, IL; sister: Dolores Berger, Manitowoc; many grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great grandchildren, great step grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; also other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her granddaughter and grandson, stepson, great grandson, three sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo - 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to take place at St. Casimir Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home & Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
