Alma Mae Merck Ramsey, 76, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 21, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Alma was born in Jackson, Mississippi to Magnus George "M.G." of Logan County, Arkansas and Alma Mae Ross Merck of Simpson County, Mississippi, who precede her in death. Alma is survived by her husband, of 46 years, Franklin (Frank) Ramsey; her daughter, Lisa Ramsey Baynes; Grandson, Frank L Baynes and wife, Ashley. Great Grand Sons; Cooper V and Colby F Baynes. Alma is also survived by her Twin sister Georgea Faye Merck Mixon and a brother; Carl William "Sonny" Merck and wife Mary Gayle; niece Sarah Alice Boulware Terrell and husband; nephew James Boulware; nephews Michael George Merck and Christopher Carl Merck; and numerous grand nieces and a grand nephew.
Alma, born in Jackson, MS, was a graduate of Central High School of Jackson, MS, Class of 1957.
Alma Mae was a customer service representative in the banking industry working many years with Sun Trust of Cobb County.
Alma Mae will be sorely missed.
A celebration of life for Alma Mae was held 1:00 P.M. Monday October 26, 2015 at Hollydale United Methodist Church, 2364 Powder Springs Road, Marietta, Georgia 30064.
