SPRINGFIELD – Paulette Sue Bird 50, of Springfield died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Oct. 10, 1948, in Decatur, the daughter of Keith and Lula Mae Guffy Kater. She married Ronald F. Bird. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Sue Moorehead.
Mrs. Bird was owner and operator of Office Concepts. She was a member of Women in Management, the National Association of Women Business Owners and former co-ordinator of First Day Fund.
Survivors: husband, Ronald F.; two sons, Stefen Moorehead of Springfield and Tadd Moorehead of Riverton: a daughter, Sheri Moorehead of Springfield; a stepson, Shawn Bird of Seattle, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Elena Sorensen of Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Nancy King of Quincy and Becky Heitz of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with Dr. John Charlton III officiating. Private interment will be held.
