Danny L. Ruff, 65, of Forest, Va., passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.He was born in Bedford County on March 19, 1950, a son of Elizabeth Kinsley and Richard and Rachel Ruff. He had been a long time employee of Va. Track and Equipment Co., was a brick mason, and a long time member of the Lynchburg Moose Lodge 1727.He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Ruff; and father and mother-in-law, Harry and Elizabeth Carter.He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ruff; their daughter, April Ruff (Gregg); daughter, Andrea Ruff (Jay); granddaughters, Adrianna Reynolds, Lindsay Adams; grandson, Devin Scott; his special dog, Pugsley; sisters, Linda (Terry), Carolyn (Doug), Darlene (Rob); brothers, Ronnie (Juanell), Ricky R.; half-brother, Ricky P.; sisters-in-law, Lois Carter, Sandy (Butch) Wheeler, Donna Hodges; brother-in-law, Eddie Carter; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Burch-Messier, Walnut St. Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Meyers officiating with a burial to follow at Peaks Church Community Cemetery.
