Catherine Ellen Poore was the fourth child, and oldest daughter, of Howard Joseph Poore (1876-1938) and Ellen (Nellie) McDonald (1882-1943). She married Francis Aloysius Gerald O'Hanlon (1899-1951) on Dec. 10, 1921 at St. James R.C. Church in Philadelphia, PA. They had one daughter, Ellen Catherine O'Hanlon (Doherty) (1924-2015).
