Mrs. Dewitt (Annie Aiken) Faucett, 99, 1945 Davis Dr., died Monday at a local hospital.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Lou Ellen Phillips, Gadsden; son James Aiken Faucett, Houston, Texas.
Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with Drs. Harrell Cushing and O.A. Davis officiating. Burial in Forrest Cemetery.
Other survivors: son-in-law, Richard M. Phillips; daughter-in-law, Nell Mosley Faucett; grandchildren, James A. Faucett, Jr., Leslie Faucett Creel, Susan Phillips Jordan, Sallie Phillips Powers; eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Robert L. Faucett, Alva Leo Rowe, Byron M. Jr., James and Conner Warren, Robert Conner, James A. Faucett Jr., Charles Abney.
Mrs. Faucett was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and past president of the W.M.U. She was a member of the Etowah County Medical Auxiliary.
The body will remain at the funeral home through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 tonight. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Gadsden or a favorite charity.
