Carol retired from Hurd's Millwork Company in 1993 after many years of employment. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. Among her many interests, she enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren and her pets.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen (Roger) Pecher, Sherry, WI Jean (Lylas) Baumann, Athens and Sandra (Robert) Romang, Rib Falls; six grandchildren, Brian (Laurel) Pecher, Norbert (Andrea) Pecher, all of Vesper, WI Scott (Cari) Baumann, Carrie (Kris) Klinger, all of Hamburg, Second Lieutenant Heather (Michael) Garske, Dayton, OH and Nicole (Jack) Smith, Weston; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister, Rubena Meyer, Marshfield; and many nieces and nephews further survive.
Besides her parents and husband's Norbert and Leo, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, LeRoy Hoffman; and three brothers, Orville, Paul and LaVerne Otto.
