Early Life: Hyrum was born March 12, 1924, to Newton Leslie and Zina Alberta Andrus, of Lyman Idaho.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On March 31, 1949, Hyrum married Helen Mae Hillman in the Idaho Falls Idaho LDS Temple. He was a dutiful servant and missionary to his God and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a patriot to his country, a renowned scholar, author, lecturer and teacher with a Doctorate degree from Syracuse University. Hyrum was a loving, caring husband and father. Hyrum Leslie Andrus passed away at home in Alpine, Utah, on October 23, 2015.
Survived By: His loving wife, Helen Mae; children: John Leslie Andrus, of Elko, NV; Richard Milo Andrus, of Stansbury Park, UT; David Hyrum Andrus, of Evanston, WY; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his sister, Nyal Merrell, of Orem, Utah.
Services: Alpine 1st Ward Chapel
Burial: Sutton Cemetery | Archer, Idaho
