Hollie is described as having been energetic, vibrant, vivacious, independent, social and easy to like. She had beautiful red hair and her nickname was "Ginge", short for ginger (red). She was a petite young lady, and was just a little over 5 lbs. when she was born (1 month premature). Her dad says he had to buy dolls' clothes for her to wear until she grew big enough for newborn clothes.

Hollie developed an interest in hair, makeup and fashion, and she went on to become a hairdresser.

She was a hairdresser at Fringe Benefits & La Bella Beauty in Glouchester. In fact, she was at work when she was viciously stabbed to death by an ex-boyfriend.

Her favorite quote was "Have hope, be strong, laugh loud & play hard. Live in the moment, smile often, dream big, remember you are loved and never, ever give up."

Her family raises money to help fund a young hairdresser each year, in Hollie's memory via the Hollie Gazzard Trust.

Hollie is survived by her loving parents, Nick and Mandy Gazzard, and her older sister, Chloe Gazzard, her niece, Ruby, grandparents and many other family & friends.

Hollie also had a little Pomeranian dog, Kye.

Following her funeral service at Gloucester Cathedral, there was a private cremation.
