Robert R. Rohr, Sr., 94, beloved husband of Rita Farrell Rohr of East Haven died February 9. 2010 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. Father of the late Robert R. Rohr, Jr. Grandfather of Elizabeth Rohr of Cheshire and Lindsay Rohr of Guilford. Son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Murphy Rohr. Brother of William Rohr of East Haven and the late Marion Cox. Prior to his retirement Bob was a manager at Marlin Firearms for over 40 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Friday morning at 11:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY MORNING from 10:00-11:00. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven, CT 06513.
