Cororner's Report & Record, Carlisle, Warren County, Iowa, April 3, 1957, Frank Raspotnik who has been removed from the S & R mine following a slate fall. Coroner, R. C. McGeehon, M.D., Frank Raspotnik, age 65, address - 2717 Logan, Des Moines, IA, nativity – German, naturalized, spouse – Antonizo Raspotnik. Having heard testimony as hereto appended we are of the opinion that Frank Rasotnik died of accidental means. A contributing factor may have been his own negligence in placing and maintaining adequate props in the area in which he was working. We find no evidence of negligence on the part of the owner, operator or others.
