Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Philippe and Marie-Louise (Baillargeon) Brunelle.
Mr. Brunelle was a member of the Kennedy Manor Club. He was previously a security guard for the Colbert Co., and a custodian at Mount St. Charles Academy.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Pauline Whitehouse of Bellingham, Mass., and Gertrude Cartier in Florida; a brother, Clovis Brunelle of Woonsocket; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, Cumberland Street. Burial will be private.
