WARREN – Betty Louise Mitchell, 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at Windsor House in Champion.
She was born May 31, 1925, in Cherry Tree, Pa., the daughter of the late Mahlen and Loleta (McManus) Berringer.
She married William Mitchell on June 16, 1947, and they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage until his passing, March 6, 2003.
She attended the Glenn Foundation. Betty always centered her life around her children and grandchildren.
Betty will be deeply missed by her children, Brenda Mitchell of Warren, Rev. Gary (Robin) Mitchell of Worthington, Sheila (Robert) Prokop of Southington, Shirley (John Showers) Mitchell of Warren, and Rhonda (Al) Simon of Cortland; a brother, Charles (Edith) Berringer of Uniontown, Pa.; six grandchildren, Kenneth Wolfe, Robert Prokop, Rachelle Turney, Tiffany (Jim) Lynch, Miriam (Gabriel) Cole and Peter Mitchell; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Delores Brink.
Interment will be at Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
