Delores was born to Rolla and Mary(Parr) Hicks on February 16, 1943 in Clinton, Missouri. She was an avid reader, loved spending time outdoors as well as attending family gatherings. She loved her children and grandchildren, cooking for them brought her great pleasure. Delores was a member and Sunday school teacher at Parks Chapel Baptist for over forty years.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Earl Thurman and Albert Foster, three sons Warren, Darren, and Jeffery Thurman and two daughters Lisa and Eva Thurman.
Survivors include her sons, Danny (Jane) Thurman, Eric (Flora) Thurman, and Joe Thurman; daughter Christy Thurman; brothers, Everett (Lois) Hicks, and Jack (Delesa) Hicks; sisters Mary Massey, Cathy Smith, Melissa June Hicks, and Tammy (Paul) Nelson; grandchildren, Sam, Cole, Carley, Emily, and Alexis; and several great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
