Christine was a devoted member of Colonial Baptist Church in Keswick for over 40 years, often volunteering with her friend Betty to work on the books for the missionaries. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend, and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents and husband, Christine is preceded in death by her brother, William Page; her sister, Mildred Goff; four sons, William E. Brown, Jr., John Calvin Brown, James Franklin Brown, and Irvin Brown; and her great granddaughter, Katrina.
Christine is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Brown, and Charles P. Brown; her brother, Charley I. Page, and a daughter in law, Ouida; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren; her special friends, Roger Brown and Betty Hawley, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends are left to cherish her memory.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2015, at Colonial Baptist Church in Keswick, with Pastor Ed Leake officiating. A burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, October 29, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville.Condolences may be offered online at www.teaguefuneralhome.com.
