A graduate of Monroe High School, Ed was a dairy farmer in the West Liberty area for many years & a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine. He was very passionate about his horses. He loved his grandchildren & spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 17 grandch ildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 1 brother & a sister-in-law. As well as numerous nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by a brother, William Gantz, and a great granddaughter, Lucy Kathryn Gantz.
