Dorothy Eleanor “Dot” Findley Lanier, 92, of Metter died Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Azalea Health and Rehab in Metter.
A lifelong resident of Metter, Dorothy was a member of the Metter Primitive Baptist Church and the Marion Agan Circle.
She was the retired owner and operator of Lanier Jewelers. Dot was an avid sports fan of all Georgia sports and in her early years, she enjoyed playing golf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lanier, and a sister Marguerite Eason.
Survivors are her son, Elliott; a daughter, Delilah.
Burial will be in the Lake Cemetery.
