June Adell Dempsey was born June 16, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan. She passed away at the age of 92, October 25, 2015. She moved with her family to Boulder in 1957. June was married for 67 years to the late Walter M. Dempsey. She retired from the University of Colorado.
She is survived by her three children, Ron Dempsey, Mark Dempsey and Karen Dempsey, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. June loved to travel, play bridge, paint, and attend Red Hats and Elk Ladies. A family celebration of her life will be held in November. Have a glass of White Zinfandel in her honor. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
