Charles Boyd Berry better known as Bud was born October 6, 1939 in Jackson County and departed this life Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea, being 76 years of age. He was the son of the late Neil (Nelve) and Grethel (Gabbard) Berry. Charles is survived by his son, Johnny Berry and by two sisters, Leona Abrams of Pine Grove and Nina Lou Jones of Indiana. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Jessica Renee Dawn Berry, Johnny Berry Jr. and Josh Berry. In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his wife Francis (Abner) Berry and a son Charles Berry Jr., better known as Chuck. Charles was of the Baptist Faith.Funeral service was held 2:00PM Monday, November 2, 2015 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Ellis Abner and Bro. Freddie Berry officiating. Burial followed in the Berry Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lonzo & Michael Cain, Ronald Johnson, Josh Berry, Mark Harrison and Wade Knighting. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
