Edwin Milton Latham, Jr, 77 of Bethany passed away at the Integris Hospice House on April 22, 2015 with his family by his side.

Edwin was born on January 18, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas to Edwin Milton Latham, Sr and Myrtle Mae (Hayes) Latham. He is survived by his children: Eddie Latham, Eric Latham and Ellen Wyatt; grandchildren: Mia Wyatt, Ella Latham, Noah Latham, Manu Contreras and one grandchild still on his way!

He was preceded in death by his parents, his half sister Nettie Defoe, and his half brother Nilton Hudnall.

Edwin was the longtime owner of Latham’s Man’s Shop, a mens specialty clothing store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma until 1996. He loved great meals, meeting and talking with people new to him, gambling and travel, especially to Mexico so he could better learn the Spanish language. In years past, Edwin also enjoyed bike riding and local sports.

Edwin was a giving man, a tradition he continued even upon his death. You see, Edwin chose to donate his body to science in an effort to help advance medical treatments, cures, and medical innovation for his fellow man.
