The eldest of four children born to Fred Moses and Frances Adcock Wells. He served in the Army then worked for LTV. He married his sweetheart, Mildred Lou Denley and they raised two children, Beverly and Wayne. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Helen, wife, son in law Steven Pope, and infant granddaughter Chrystal Dawn Maxwell. He is survived by his son Wayne Wells and wife, Lisa of NRH,TX, Daughter Beverly Pope, and granddaughter Angel Dawn Pope of Hillsboro, TX.
