GREGORY W. BATTIN
(1960 - 2015)

Gregory W.(Gregg) Battin, 55, of Two Rivers, entered eternal life Saturday, October 31, 2015 after a brief and valiant journey with cancer.

He was born October 31, 1960 in Roanoke, VA, the son of Robert and Dorothy Battin. His family and his mentor, Rev. Yarborough instilled in him his Christian faith. Gregg graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, VA with the class of 1979. Gregg married Lisa E. Waack on October 14, 1989 in Virginia. They moved to Wisconsin in 1991. Gregg worked in automotive service before starting his own business. As Mr. Freez A/C Sales and Service, he provided mobile air conditioning repair and refrigerant recycling services. Having his own business allowed him to work with his sons and be part of their sporting events. Gregg was more than willing to help promote the local youth and school sports through his commitment, donations, and inspiration for a Mud Bud Boil fundraiser. He was known for his honesty, willingness to help others, and being the "Best Boss Ever".

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three sons, Christopher, Roanoke, VA, Karl and Erin Pflughoeft, Eau Claire, and Erik, Madison; his brothers Bill and Wanda Battin, Thomas and Kristin Battin, and his sisters Linda (Larry) Blanchett, Sue and David Hopcroft all of Roanoke, VA. Mother and father-in-law Melvin and Elaine Waack, Kiel, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bonnie Waack, Wausau, Reverend Lee and Pam Kuhns, El Campo, TX, and Todd Mattingly and Janelle Waack, Bentonville, AK.
