Agnes was born in Houlton, Maine c.1917, the daughter of William Herbert McIntyre, and Annie Freeman McIntyre. Her mother passed, in 1918, a victim of the influenza pandemic. with her sister Jennie (though but13 years herself) left to care and love her. Her father then relocated to Conn. with other siblings all of whom predecease her. She was the widow of Ivan Thaxter. She is survived by her son James Thaxter,of Bristol. Also surviving are a multitude of nieces and nephews.
