This photo is Cecil's great grandparents, Hardin Davis and Mary Ellen (Lewis) Renfro. This couple had three children, Louisa Ellen (Renfro) Hennion, Luther (Cecil's grandfather), and Morton Renfro. Hardin was a land surveyor and acquired many hundred acres of land in his life time. He was born on March 28, 1835 and lived to be 84. He lived in Barren County, Ky most of his life but later moved to Edmonson County where his descendants live today.

The man in the middle wearing a hat is Henry Renfro, Cecil's father. He is standing with his brothers and sisters from left to right: Claude, Beulah, Mollie, Herbert, Maude and Clyde. Henry, Herbert (Hub) and Mollie were full siblings and the others were half. Papaw Henry's father was Luther Renfro. Luther was first married to Nancy McCombs to which was born Mary E.(Mollie), Henry D, Bertie F, and Herbert Renfro. Nancy passed away in her thirties and Luther married Eva and had the children Claude, Maude, Beulah, and Clyde.

This photo is of Cecil's wife, Lola Lorene Renfro, and their son, Ronald Gene Renfro. Lorene turned 92 on May 19, 2015. She presently resides in the Edmonson County Health Center in Brownsville, Ky. She loved her husband with all her heart.
