Maria Luisa Perez Aguilera, 85 of Anahuac passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 20th at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac with Rev. Neal Arce celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in Anahuac Cemetery. A gathering of Maria's family and friends will be from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday with a rosary at 6:00 P.M.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Perez; one sister, and three brothers; son, Pablo Aguilera and granddaughters, Martha Aguilera, Kitana Aguilera; daughter-in-law, Rose Aguilera. She loved being with family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac.
Maria is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ramon Aguilera; daughters, Aurora Nava and husband, Martin, Lourdea Barragan and husband, Antonio, Bertha Flores and husband, Jose Cornejo, Otilia Orozco and husband, Jose Luis, Francisca Jimenez and husband, Martin; sons, Raul Aguilera, Ignacio Aguilera and wife, Maria, Ernesto Aguilera and wife, Maris de Jesus; brother, Jesus Perez; 39 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
