Funeral services for J. M. Norris were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Saxon-Boze-Mitchell funeral home chapel with Rev. L. H. Raney, pastor of the Farley Street Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Burial Park.
Music was provided by a Farley Street Baptist church quartet under the direction of Lloyd Taylor.
Pallbearers were Raymond Mauldin, Ed Kennedy, Carl Vaughan, Vernon Craszy, J. F. Owens and Clovis Reynolds."
